YeahYeahYeah

Oh my. Ibiza is one amazing place

Spent the last week staying at the villa pictured above, hardly slept at all for the entire week, but the amazing thing is - it didn't seem to matter. I'm not sure why but it's almost as if the island gives off some kind of energy. No matter how badly I abused my body or how many days I stayed awake, all I had to do was drag myself to a beach club, get on a sun lounger, order some grilled gambas and a vodka laced gazpacho, then jump into the beautiful sea and float like a jellyfish for half an hour before BAM - fully recharged and ready for another night of mayhem!

We saw hardly any British people at all, everywhere we visited seemed to only contain the most beautiful ubermensch, an aryan master race of impossibly long-limbed lovelies. In fact it was a horrible reality check to return to the airport and find the mass of red-faced tattooed orcs that pass for my fellow countrymen - god only knows what the spanish feel to see them descend en masse

I cant believe I left it so long to visit the place, I have fallen head-over-heels in love with the island and just can't wait to go back! In fact, I've started to have a look around as to whether I can get married there next summer....

Incredible! I had exactly the same sort of experience having gone there for the first time at the age of 40. A quite extraordinary feeling of well-being and general friendliness despite the bodily abuse and spending a lot of time hanging out with bankers. A quite miraculous place. However, I was told that nothing quite beats that first time...

its really weird - any night out in the uk with similar levels of abuse would have left me huddled in the foetal position for 2 days

and you're right gaw - not sure I'll be able to top our week, we were very spoilt with our villa and the way everything just seemed to fall into place!

hope you are safely on the mend!!!!

Did you sing the Venga Boys song the whole time, the one that sounds like "Woh! we're going to eat pizza"...?

yes, we sang that everywhere, its a well known 'underground' anthem on the island, and the spanish people love it, especially when you are vomiting on their houses
