I am currently ploughing my way through the book above - it has really grabbed my attention by being set in the rarified world of a posh old east coast university campus. I'm not entirely sure why I love stories set within this milieu, seeing as I generally find the thought of american frat boys and students to be somewhat repellent.
I suppose one of the reasons why I like american college stories is that due to the endless depiction of hallowed halls and manicured lawns in US movies, the whole set-up is incredibly easy to visualise in one's mind whilst reading...
