The Sound of Saturn



After yesterday's spooky Aeolian harp, I've managed to find something even more industrially ambient - the sound produced by the solar winds that pulse through the rings of Saturn.

    I think you should commercialise that: the Ringtones of Saturn. It would make an interesting talking point.

    Has anybody actually got a tape recorder up close to Saturn's rings?? I suspect a bit of technical jiggery-pokery!

    yes Gadjo - this recording was sent back to earth from a nasa space probe! (true!)

    and Gaw - not sure how well the 'ringtones of saturn' would go down with the school kids of the Marquess estate! Not enough swearin', blud
